In a previous blog entry, which I have now removed, I made a reference to Foxboro Marketing Director Betty Naylor-McDevitt which she found insulting and derogatory. It was not my intention to do so, and, far from it– my intent was entirely complimentary. I am shocked and extremely upset that what I wrote could be construed in such a negative way.
However, the responsibility for a communication rests with the communicator (that’s me) rather than with the communicatee (that’s you all, and especially Betty Naylor-McDevitt) and I have clearly done a poor job of communicating.
So, Betty, please accept my apology.
