It doesn’t feel like it, or look like it on the map, but London to Bahrain is a long trip. Sleep, eat, watch movie, sleep, eat. By the time I got to Bahrain, I was looking for Pepto-Bismol, because I can’t eat and sleep…there has to be movement, exercise, between sleep and eat. Not much of that, even in Business Class on a 777. So I had a nice walk around Manama looking for a pharmacy, which a succession of helpful Bahrainis indicated was just on the next block. Finally, I walked back to the hotel and got the concierge to send somebody to Jaffar’s Pharmacy, which I never physically found. Thanks to Jaffar, or his staff pharmacist, I was back to snuff in no time.
I wanted to post some stuff immediately on arrival, but the hotel Internet is Intermittent. (grin)
So, the Yokogawa Middle East User Group Meeting starts tomorrow morning.
