Rockwell Automation Is Number One!
Denny Hamlin, of Joe Gibbs Racing, wins the Busch Series Telcel-Motorola 200 in the Rockwell Automation #20 Chevrolet
Denny Hamlin felt confident about his chances in Sunday’s Telcel-Motorola 200 — and backed it up by holding off road-course expert Boris Said for the victory at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. It was the first career Busch win in 39 starts for the 25-year-old Hamlin, who started second and pitted during the first caution, then outdueled pole-sitter and road-course ace Boris Said by 1.53 seconds in the Telcel-Motorola 200. Of course, Rockwell Automation is the only automation vendor currently sponsoring a Nascar race car, so they’d be Number One in automation Nascar no matter where Denny placed, but I am sure it is real fine for him to bring home the bacon…er, bragging rights. I am a man with a need for speed, as y’all found out last year when I got to drive the Texas Driving Experience courtesy of Citect. I would purely love to be able to figure out some way to the Lowes Motor Speedway to write on something that had to do with process automation sometime.
